It’s official… the Peak of Things website has officially been launched. It was officially launched on December 20, 2016. This was when the first T-Shirt design was uploaded to the site after a couple of months playing around with different ideas for the direction of the site. If you hadn’t been aware of the possibility of this website I wrote a post about the announcement of Peak of Things. It has been a long time coming. I have always wanted to do something with T-Shirts, but never thought I would do something like this so soon. Once I read Chris Lema’s post on how to develop a T-Shirt website in 20 minutes I just had to do it.
It was a longtime goal, and it was finally time to make it happen. Click To TweetPeak of Things
Peak of Things is a website dedicated to creating T-Shirt designs with a local feel. A lot of the focus will be around North Carolina and the cities and towns within the state. It won’t be limited to just one state though. Currently you can find T-Shirt designs for Pittsburgh and Boston as well. There will be more to come as well including T-Shirt designs for Washington DC, New York City, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Additionally, there will be more designs for Pittsburgh and North Carolina.
You’ll also notice a difference between logo from the announcement post and the logo that is now on the website. This was something I messed around with for a month or so because I wanted to get it right. I only went through a few different possibilities before deciding on the current logo, but the first iteration of it just wasn’t good enough.
What’s Next
Head on over to the Peak of Things and sign up for the mailing list to receive updates weekly. There will be new designs added each week (at least 3), and new locales will continue to be added as well.
